China Pavilion 中国馆Location: Section B in Pudong area of Expo Site, eastern side of Expo Axis Floor area:
Total floor area of about 140,000 square meters
地理位置：位于世博会浦东区的Ｂ场，东部靠近会展地轴线，占地面积为１４０平方千米
Post-utilization: China National Pavilion will be reserved as thematic museum of World Exposition permanently, and the Regional Pavilion will be used as premises for various commercial exhibitions and activities
功能：中国馆将长时充当世博主题馆，局域馆承办着各式商业性展览和商业活动

Overview 远景
The traditional Chinese archi-cultural elements, such as the Dougong brackets on roof structure and nine--folded scripts engraved on the elevations will be introduced to reflect
and convey Chinese people's dream and longing for World Expo.
传统的中国建筑艺术和文化元素，比如馆顶的九宫格风格，嵌入悬梁的盘柱被溶为一体．传递着中国民族对世博会的渴望与梦想．
The China Pavilion is designed with the concept of "the Crown of the East". The
traditional Chinese wooden structure architecture element–Dougong brackets is introduced. The design concept can be summarized
into 16 words, "the Crown of the East, the
Crest of Chinese, the Barn for the World and Wealthy People". The height of China National Pavilion is 63 meters and the cascade levels shape urban sculpture to reflect the
landmark of China Pavilion. The Regional Joint Pavilion is 14 meters high and extends the city texture horizontally to shape a solid base of the building and construct a space for public activities in the city.
中国馆以东方之冠的建筑风格为理念．引用的，传统的中国木阁建筑－九宫格．整个设计蕴涵可以用１６个字来概括：＂东方之冠，中国至尊，世界之窗，人民小康＂．馆高６３米，瀑布式的层次感呈现出了现代雕塑艺术，展现出了中国馆的地标．各局部连接馆高１４米．水平方向延伸，形成了整个建筑的固垒，为城市公益活动构造了相应的空间．
